Return Eligibility
All wigs from Dylan's Wig Closet are customised and cut to order, meaning each wig is individually prepared, cut, and finished after purchase. Due to the nature of these made-to-order products, return requests must be submitted to info@dylanswigcloset.com within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Only return requests submitted by email will be considered. Return requests submitted after 7 calendar days will not be accepted.
Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a return, the wig must be returned in the same condition in which it was received. You may try the wig on to assess the fit and appearance, provided it remains:
- Unaltered
- Uncut (lace must remain fully intact)
- Unwashed
- Uncoloured
- Free of added product, glue, gel, or makeup
- In its original packaging
- With the original tag still attached
For hygiene reasons, a complimentary wig cap is provided and should be used when trying on the wig.
Any wig showing signs of wear, hygiene concerns, use beyond assessing fit and appearance, cutting, styling, washing, colouring, or the use of products will not be accepted for return.
Refund Amount
Because each wig is customised and cut to order, a portion of the purchase price is non-refundable to cover the costs of customisation, cutting, and preparation.
For all approved returns:

20% of the wig price is non-refundable (covers customisation, cutting, and preparation)

Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund (a prepaid return label will be provided)
Refunds are issued once the returned wig has been received, inspected, and approved. Please allow up to 7 business days for processing.
Cancellation policy
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase by emailing info@dylanswigcloset.com. A 5% transaction fee applies.
If you request a cancellation more than 24 hours after placing your order and it has not yet shipped, an 80% refund of the wig price will be issued. The remaining 20% is non-refundable to cover preparation costs. Original shipping costs will be refunded.
Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and our Return & Refund Policy applies.
If your order has not shipped within our 31-day processing window, you may cancel for a full refund, including shipping costs.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us within 24 hours if the wig is damaged, defective, or incorrect. Clear photos are required for review.
Please note that product photos show the wigs fully styled. Wigs are shipped clean, prepared, and cut, but not styled. Differences due to styling do not qualify as defects or incorrect items.
We do not cover damage caused after delivery, including bleaching, colouring, cutting or tearing the lace, installing or applying glue/products, heat damage, restyling, or any other alterations to the original condition.
Only genuine manufacturing defects or damage caused during transit may qualify for a refund, replacement, or other resolution.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Closet Sale wigs are previously worn, one-of-one pieces with the lace already cut. Because their full condition cannot be guaranteed or verified after delivery, they are final sale and not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges.
Exchanges
Exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to stock availability and the condition of the returned item. If you would like to explore an exchange, please contact info@dylanswigcloset.com and we will review the available options.
For customers located within the European Union, statutory cooling-off rights apply where required by applicable law.
